Designed by UC Santa Barbara students, our app helps people with busy schedules stay consistent with their fitness goals. We believe fitness isn't about perfection, but about showing up, building sustainable habits, and giving grace along the way. We wish to reinforce the idea that breaks do not equal failure. Life gets in the way, and that's okay. What matters most is long-term progress, not short-term perfection. This app was created as part of CMPSC 185: Human-Computer Interaction.
Conducted usability tests, observations, and feedback sessions to improve interface designs.
Wireframing, prototyping in Figma, and refining interfaces based on user feedback.
Sketches, low-fi prototypes, hi-fi mockups, and task flows created to visualize design concepts and user interactions.
Collaborative design work (GR1-GR9) completed in a team of 3 throughout the course.

We conducted interviews and needfinding on a group of participants regarding the domain of goals. For each participant, we analyzed their insights and needs and was able to gather 4 key gatherings leading into the next GR.
We narrowed our domain to gym users and conducted an additional 2 interviews. We then created 3 POVs and 30+ HMWs based on the insights we gathered, and created experience prototypes to test them out.
In this assignment, we narrowed down to one solution, Momentum. We conducted market research, created tasks flows, storyboards, and a concept video to showcase our idea.
This is our low-fi prototype of Momentum. We edited our previous task flows and sketched them on a tablet. We then created a clickable prototype in Figma and conducted user tests to gather feedback for improvements.
This is our medium-fi prototype of Momentum. We took our low-fi prototype and enhanced it with more interactive elements. We then built a prototype in Figma that reflects our three task flows.
This is our high-fi prototype of Momentum. We edited our previous medium-fi prototype and enhanced it with more interactive elements. We also took our peers' feedback into consideration and made improvements to our design.
This is our final project presentation. We created a poster and pitch slides to showcase our design process and final product, and we also created a demo video to demonstrate how our app works.
This is our final report. This is a comprehensive report that summarizes our design process and final product.
